Bag-valve-mask (BVM) ventilation is a viable non-invasive airway management technique in MWDs for providing effective oxygenation and ventilation. Considering many UAOs are not completely occlusive, BVM ventilation may provide a stopgap until a more definitive airway can be obtained.
